Quality Indicators
District
• The District has earned National Accreditation from the AdvancED Accreditation Commission.
• Eleven Magnet Academies provide a strong core curriculum enhanced with extensive course work in one of the following disciplines - academic excellence, communication arts, fine arts, international studies, languages, mathematics, pre-engineering technology and health professions, science and technology, and traditional studies.
• Unique learning experiences are offered at the Fine Arts Center, Roper Mountain Science Center and Washington Center.
• Schools across Greenville County offer the International Baccalaureate Primary, Middle Years, and Diploma Programs.

• Thirteen schools have been named National Blue Ribbon Schools by the United States Department of Education.

• GCS boasts 28 National PTA Schools of Excellence for Parental Involvement and one school earned the Phoebe Apperson Hearst NPTA Excellence in Partnership award.
