The University Center, a nonprofit consortium of seven different colleges and universities, is dedicated to increasing access and educational opportunities for citizens of the Greenville metropolitan area. The state of the art teaching and learning center is designed to serve the needs of working adults. Most courses are offered during the evenings, for the convenience of working adults. Some daytime and weekend classes are also available.
Seven senior institutions are members in the University Center’s consortium: Clemson, Furman, Lander, MUSC, SC State, USC, and USCS.
The Center offers more than 600 courses in 25 graduate and 21 undergraduate degree programs. North Greenville College
North Greenville College is a small, co-educational liberal arts institution located 18 miles north of Greenville in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Accredited by the Commission of Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, North Greenville College offers basic liberal arts curricula that lead to the associate and baccalaureate degrees.
